Chinese people in love everywhere rejoice! Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day 2010 fall on the same day! So what's your sign? Virgo Goat or Taurus Rabbit? Design a card using either (or both) Zodiacs and win up to US$2500!
While our math is not quite up to par to calculate how often this happens, we're pretty darn sure it's special. Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day coincide this year, and Foldees is celebrating with Zodiac Zoo!!. Simply design a card that makes use of any element from a Zodiac calendar - be it Ptolemaic, Chinese, Babylonian, Hindu or Mayan - and you could win up to US$2500 in cash!
What we're looking for are mainly LOVE and CHINESE NEW YEAR cards to commemorate the occasion, but by all means don't let that stop you from doing anything else you might come up with (star sign birthdays as well, why not?)!
Please keep in mind that we'll be keeping an extra sharp eye on not just design, but card themes that make use of the theme. Also, in particular for this category, please BE EXTRA WARY OF USING COPYRIGHTED CHARACTERS OR LIKENESSES. If you're not sure what constitutes fair use of a copyrighted character, read this. If you're still not sure after that, then it's probably best not to use one.
Aside from that, the usual Foldees rule of strictly vector art only applies as usual. This means that no gradients, rasters or opacity filters are allowed.
